Dr. Jeff Stikeleather
Dr. Jeff Stikeleather is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He moved to the Cary area while he was in high school and graduated from Athens Drive High School in Raleigh. He graduated magna cum laude from North Carolina State University with a degree in biochemistry. Dr. Stikeleather then earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, graduating cum laude. He practiced in the RTP area for 5 years before opening his own practice, Cary Vision Care, in 2002.
Dr. Stikeleather and his wife, Carolyn, enjoy spending time with their three grown sons, and are very involved in their church. He enjoys playing bass guitar in the praise band and pulling for the Wolfpack.
Dr. Megan Dantini
Dr. Megan Dantini is originally from Houghton Lake, Michigan. She graduated cum laude from Ferris State University with a bachelor’s degree in vision science. Dr. Dantini went on to earn her Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Michigan College of Optometry, graduating with high distinction. She continued her optometric training through residency at Indiana University, specializing in ocular disease. Dr. Dantini is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and has expertise in specialty and scleral contact lens fitting. Dr. Dantini has traveled to Guyana, South America; Guanajuato, Mexico; and Guaymas, Mexico with VOSH International to provide free eye examinations and eyewear to thousands of underprivileged patients. She continues her volunteer efforts locally with Habitat for Humanity and Change the Triangle in the Raleigh/Durham area. Dr. Dantini practiced in the Triangle area for 5 years before joining Cary Vision Care in 2014. She and her husband, Rick, keep busy shuttling their two active boys to swim meets and baseball games.
